About Me

I have always loved words and books. I can't tell you how old I was when I first picked up a book, but I do remember at the age of twelve falling in love with Africa after reading Men of Men by Wilbur Smith. Such imagery, such characters, such adventure. What more could there possibly be?

In my late teens I discovered Stephen King. What a master story teller. I got to lose myself in worlds full of monsters and the heroes who defeated them. The world much like my own - but twisted. I was in love. Even now I can't walk in front of a drain without the fear of my ankle being grabbed by some psycho clown.

When I met my Husband, he introduced me to the world of fantasy. He gave me the Magician by Raymond E Feist. I was suddenly given new worlds to explore - new characters to love and hate.

Along the way there was John Steinbeck, Annie Proulx, William Golding, Tolkien, and so many other authors that have captured my imagination or made me think.

Finally I came to romance and I must admit, I was a bit of a snob at first. Before I had even read any I thought romance was rubbish - read by bored housewives and written by them as well. The stereotypical perception we are indoctrinated with by the reading/writing world. How wrong I was.

Romance is full of talented and ambitious writers who know how to tell fabulous stories. They can pull your heart out and squeeze it with emotion. I laugh, I cry, I feel when I am reading romance. And Romance writers - are the most professional and giving people I have ever come across.

So after a lifetime of reading I decided to try writing, I had never thought of it before. How could I write? What could I write? Then I found the answer. By taking bits and pieces form all the genres I love, I started writing Paranormal stories and recently I moved to writing paranormal Erotica. So Here I am....
